Develop and implement FPGA designs using VHDL, ensuring high performance and reliability. • Optimize designs for speed, area, and power consumption. • Create testbenches and perform simulation and verification to ensure functionality and performance meet specifications. • Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, design descriptions, and test plans. • Work closely with hardware and software engineers to integrate designs into larger systems. • Identify and resolve issues, including debugging and fixing design errors. • Proficiency in VHDL and FPGA design using Altera Quartus. • Strong understanding of digital design principles, including timing analysis, synthesis, and optimization. • Experience with simulation tools like ModelSim or QuestaSim. • Familiarity with hardware description languages (HDLs) and other programming languages such as Verilog or SystemVerilog is a plus. • Experience with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, or DDR memory. • Familiarity with signal processing algorithms and their implementation on FPGAs. • CT DMS, gantry control design experience is a plus • Both PWA HW design and FPGA VHDL coding are preferred
