Mission & Scope
The Process Engineer designs and implements new processes, with the aim of continuously optimising and integrating new solutions. He/she is involved in the design of products, proposal and execution phases, until the commissioning phase.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the process engineer are the following:
Design process installation: Cooling system, piping sizing, Heat & Mass Balance, equipment selection, etc.
Responsible of issuing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
Conducts risk analysis, HAZOP and ATEX study.
Responsible of drafting the main process deliverables such as Operating Philosophy, Functional description, Cause & Effect matrix, Commissioning procedures, etc.
Collaborate with surcontractons and Customer
Assesses compliance with applicable design, safety and quality standards.
Support the project team during commissioning of the Hydrogen Refueling Station
Profile
You have an engineering master (civil or industrial),
You have minimum 5 years’ experience in process design and engineering in an industrial environment.
Experience is Hydrogen Refuelling Station or Hydrogen in general is a plus,
Knowledge of thermodynamics is a must,
Knowledge of Hydrogen storage and compression is an asset,
Acquaintance with piping (ASME B36.10), flanges (ASME B16.5), valves (ASME B16.34), tubing, instrumentation, PLC is a strong asset.
You have a strong and autonomous personality, an entrepreneurial mindset and a will to win,
You are able to prioritize and have an excellent sense of organization,
You are fluent in English, and French,
You are proficient in MS office.
