1.Lead a structural engineering team or supervise and coordinate with a jacket detailed design subcontractor consisting of structural engineer, designers and draft persons to perform analysis/calculation and design drafting work.
2 Supervise and coordinate all technical matters relating to jacket structural engineering works of project, ensure that the works are completed in compliance with the contract requirements and the reference specifications, design codes, and standards.
3. Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews team’s work; prepare jacket detailed design master document register and estimate manpower requirement.
4. Prepare and review project design documents, including but not limited to, design basis,
specifications, calculation notes, data sheets, reports, general arrangement plans, lists.
5. Using SACS, Staad pro, Ansys. etc FEM software to independently perform jacket pre-service and in- service structural analysis, impact analysis, fatigue analysis, push-over analysis, pile drivability analysis, and prepare a calculation report.
6. Technical reviews of engineering consultant output where the work is subcontracted.
7. Coordinate and manage jacket related design interface issues.
8. Provide technical support in procurement of structural materials when required.
9. Review key design documents, 3D model, MTO, RFQ document, perform technical bid evaluation.
10. Communicates complex technical issues and recommends solutions to clients and upper
management and ensure jacket structures for the projects designed will be fully functional as intended, meet project requirements, cost effective.
11. Participate and contribute to technical review sessions e.g. 3D model, constructability, etc.
12. Coordinate design efforts with team, other disciplines, owner/agents, and suppliers.
13. Provide guidance to young engineers and designers.
14. Participate in and fosters a work environment based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.

At least having 20 years of working experience on steel structural engineering design. Minimum of 15 years of experience in offshore structural engineering design; with at least have done 2-3 offshore jacket detailed design projects with at least one project in lead role.
Be with valuable high-level exposure to detailed design, estimating, and construction site.
Familiarized with industrial and regulatory design standards (API, AISC, ISO, DNV, etc.) and design criteria in offshore structural engineering.
Familiarized with steel material standards of ASTM, EN and ISO.
A recognized degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on structural engineering, from a accredited college or university.
