Summary of the role:


The business controller reports to head of plant controlling, and supports workshop head, product/non-product program manager by providing financial control/analysis of both investment and operational cost within the unit.



Main Responsibilities:


Ø Drive Manufacture

² Challenge and drive business in plant operation with professional financial knowledge and wide-ranging experience, including both of short-term plan and long-term strategy.

² Drive business control complex activities in daily operation of functions and add value for company, focus on both of running Opex and new project investment Capex.

² Contribute to business and improve MFG performance on Safety /Quality /Delivery /Sustainability and Finance efficiency.

Ø Control Business

² Provide value-added in-depth guidance/suggestion for Biz plan development and Biz decision making.

² Becoming an integral part of business growth with professional digital analysis skills. - Foresee /highlight risk and opportunities for business, lead efficient actions with business together and drive internal control to optimize manufacture process.

Ø Finance teamwork

² Communicate with internal Finance teams and build up efficient teamwork. Continually contribute to improve finance efficiency, including but not limited to, develop and standardize finance
report & analysis system.

² Continually develop processes.

² Continually develop team competence in different projects.

² MFG Program Control

² Early-involve in MFG Program since PS.

² Cooperate and challenge global program based on plant actual status.

² Develop program control process and secure program execution with good quality.

Ø Others

² Ownership of Biz and act as a part of Business.

² Other assignment from line manager.



Requirements:

Ø Biz-partner experience

² Support plant to achieve business target with financial knowledge and experience, including both of short-term plan and long-term strategy.

² Fully understand plant target and actively
support business to improve performance on Safety /Quality /Delivery and Sustainability.

² Be aware of business concerns on Ergo /Environment /Legal issues from finance perspective and make financial decision when it is necessary, be deeply involved in operation practice and always keep deadline.

Ø Running manufacture

² Work upfront and make good planning before workshop management come for support.

² Drive business control activities in workshop operation and add value for company, focus on both of running Opex and Non-prod.Capex.

Ø Good potential and business sensibility

² Conduct benchmark analysis, collect/verify the data and develop business case, based on the financial analysis and cost breakdown investigation.

² Proactively support to identify business
opportunity and drive business efficiency improvement, including manufacturing
process optimization, new program /technology adaptation, material/logistic/manufacture cost saving, supply-chain lead time reduction, consumption quantity reduction and price negotiation with supplier, and so on.
Competence to develop finance efficiency

Ø Finance knowledge

² Finance related knowledge, incl. Management Accounting / GL /Audit /Tax /Transfer-Price - and others.

² Competence to communicate with internal Finance teams and build up efficient teamwork. • Data insight ability: data-driven & Initiatives, including R&O management and follow up with actions.

Ø Simplify the way of working to improve efficiency via the journey of digitalization. Soft skill

Ø Communicate effectively: always take ownership and keep result-driven.

Ø Ensure ownership: data-driven and follow p with actions.

Ø Plan & Align: challenge and drive business with respect.

Ø Problem-solving: result-driven and always seek for more efficient way with a sufficient global perspective. Generic knowledge and Others

Ø Basic Finance system tool: SAP /HFM (One-stream) / EXCEL / PPT, etc.

Ø The Application of Digital Intelligence Tools: Power-BI / VBA / Python, etc.

Ø Language: English on working level or above & Chinese Mandarin on working level or above.

Ø Experience Required: 8+ years’ related experience, or other talent with high potential. Academic Qualification

Ø Bachelor or above.

Ø CPA /ACCA/CMA is advantage.
