Position Summary
1.As a key role of product development team, Design Engineer works with Control Products Engineer and testing engineer closely to be responsible for hydraulic control module and solenoid products design.
2.Work by following Borgwarner Product Development Plan
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
1.Good at info share and cross function cooperation with Mechanical, GSM,GQS. and global strength to accomplish competitive designs
2.Being responsible for product design to meet both BW and customer requirement.
3.Being responsible for tech review with suppliers, customers, BW China plants
4.Be responsible for design release including drawings, engineering documentation such as components spec, stack up, design change etc.
5.Being responsible for all design related support, including design review, design status update, VAVE, testing fixtures, brain storm, LL share, etc.
6.Summary report was required by end of design release.
Requirements / Qualifications
1.Bachelor degree or above (required) in Mechanical & Hydraulic in Automotive (preferred)
2.At least 2 years working experience in OEM or automotive supplier (required), experience on transmission or hydraulic system or solenoid (preferred)
3.Can-do & self-learning attitude, be able to work with pressure
4.Be interested in the design activities, good at Catia V5, GD&T, MS Office (required)
5.Language skills: English (required)
6.Transmission control system knowledge (preferred)
7.Good at invention (preferred)
