Responsibilities:
The Senior QA Manager will be responsible for managing one or more game projects and maintaining appropriate QA services around functional testing plan, execution and reporting of all projects under supervision, and also coordinating all related staff & departmental issues.
● Build successful working relationships with Worldwide Development Studios Internal & External, QA Department locally & globally, Producers, and Developers, and Third-Party Developers Internal & External.
● Lead and mentor sub-teams through managers, anticipate and assess skill gaps and organizational needs for projects and franchises, coach and develop QA managers and leaders within the department.
● Collaborate with managers and directors to define project scope, quality goals, and timelines. Support managers in creating flexible project plans, including task definition, talent assignment, and both QA and hardware resource requirements.
● Manage the QA resources, assess skills requirements for the current project and next, recognize latent internal talent to develop into stretch roles.
● Build productive working relationships with other discipline leaders within the studio to increase goal alignment and represent their team to studio leadership.
● Support Managers in analysis of KPI data and process improvement. Evolve and optimize project-wide processes across multiple projects proactively.
● Quarterly performance reviews of direct reports.
● Raising disciplinary issues as appropriate.
● Actively participate in the recruiting and interview process.

● Excellent team building skills, QA team should work as a unified team across all QA studios.
● Knowledge of bug database systems, QA process, test plan creation, and bug writing process.
● Hardworking, reliable, punctual, flexibility to work unsociable hours depending on deadlines.
● Technically proficient with PCs, gaming consoles, and related hardware.
● Ability to liaise with other departments.
Basic Qualifications:
● Must be able to communicate effectively & successfully in English, in both written and oral forms.
● Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
● Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in Game QA including 5 years’ experience at QA Lead/Manager level.
● AAA game experience in a QA Leadership role with multiple titles.
● Passion for the video games industry.
● Willingness to adopt a broad overview of the department.
● Well-developed interpersonal, communication skills, and management skills.
● Reliable with the ability to work in a team environment.
