Operations Buyer
Report to: Purchasing Manager
Objectives & Keys Tasks
Generates downstream productivity and value (in line with category strategy):
Manages day to day activities on Purchasing families for the Purchasing Center he belongs to, according to category strategies.
Proposes and leads local productivity plan and value creation from RP4 (Mass production starting)
Deploy productivity plan from Category leaders for current year and N+1 N+2 coming years
Ensures implementation of purchasing action plans in sites / coordination with sites
Participates into the SRM process
Interacts with Purchasing community: participates to strategy definition with the category leaders; works with SEB Asia for Asian suppliers.
Education & Qualifications
Education
Engineering, Business or Purchasing degree
At least 5 years of experience in industrial activities (R&D, Quality, Logistics, Operations …) in a direct purchasing function.
Skills & Expertise required
Comfortable in transversal working and project management in international context
Simplify complexity, show initiative, accountability and agility
Seek for continuous improvement to maximise performance
Fluent in English
