Main job responsibilities
Provide manufacturing process feedback for the scalability of mechanical and electromechanical design.
Use GD&T to guide the best practices for manufacturing tolerances.
Assist the supply chain team in launching tools in a way that accelerates progress.
Review manufacturing processes, fixtures, and equipment, identify risks, and mitigate them.
Determine the production process based on dimensional data and control plan.
Promote internal and external PFMEA reviews.
• Solve various technical problems in manufacturing goods.
Serve as a manufacturing subject matter expert in reviewing and interacting with design engineers.
Propose design change suggestions to improve the sustainability of the product.
Evaluate and manage the scalability of new and existing suppliers.
Evaluate production, supplier, and on-site failures for root cause analysis and resolution.
Basic qualifications
-BSME/EE or equivalent requirements.
-More than 8 years of relevant work experience.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
-Familiar with industry standard tools for problem-solving and risk management.
-Wide range of manufacturing commodity backgrounds (mechanical and electrical).
-Have
extensive product experience in one or more of the following fields:
sheet metal manufacturing, die-casting, plastic injection molding,
battery module manufacturing, printed circuit board components, sensors,
cameras, cables, structures/weldments, forging processes
-Can accept business travel time exceeding 50%. (Most business trips are in China)
Preferred Qualification
-Experience across multiple design and operational disciplines.
-More than 2 years of experience in process auditing/QMS auditing
-Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt
