A multi site-based
role with time split between the Jakarta Head Office, Konawe (SCM) Operations
and MBM operations at the Indonesia Morawali Industrial Park (IMIP. AIM, RKEF
and Converter operations). The role will work closely with Operations and Technical
Services (TS) GM’s to use data, knowledge and experience to identify and
implement margin improvement initiatives.

· Investigate costs and production data to identify opportunities to reduce underlying operating cost across business support and operations departments

· Drive productivity and efficiency improvements as part of responsibilitiesfor operational excellence

· Prioritise initiatives based on value and complexity.

· Drive the cost reduction initiatives through coordinating trials and
implementation in conjunction with department managers.

· Test the validity of initiatives with operations managers

· Undertake cost variance analysis by working closely with the Operations
Finance & Accounting Managers

· Ensure site value addition and cost reduction programs are prioritised with
new initiatives introduced quarterly.

· Stay up to date with new technology to support operations efficiency
opportunities Introduce business improvement techniques and tools (such as LEAN) to operating teams

· Advanced technical, numerical and financial understanding

· Previous experience in mining and processing operations with recent experience in similar business improvement or cost reduction roles Understands mining technical disciplines and the relationships between them

· A visible safety leader
