Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized EMS Manager to oversee the relationship with our Electronics Manufacturing Services partners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, quality control, timely delivery, and cost optimization. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external EMS partners to meet production and business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing and Operations Management

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day operations with EMS partners, including IQC/OQC inspection, material arrangements, production schedules, assembly, testing, and logistics.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet specifications.
  • Well management of In-process Quality Control and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for EMS partners, including yield rates, defect rates, and production lead times.

Vendor and Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EMS partners to foster collaboration
    and address challenges proactively.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with EMS providers.
  • Evaluate and select new EMS vendors based on cost, quality, and capability.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and
    reduce defects.

Supply Chain Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal supply chain teams to ensure materials availability and inventory management.
  • Work with logistics teams to manage shipping schedules and ensure on-time delivery.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare detailed reports on production performance, costs, and operational
    efficiency for senior management.
  • Ensure proper documentation of processes, contracts, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s
    degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,
    or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in EMS management or a related role within the
    electronics industry.
  • Proven track record of managing relationships with large EMS providers in Shenzhen or similar regions.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, assembly, and testing.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to analyze production data and drive improvements.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory requirements for electronics.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken).

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
